Provocações afro referenciadas na Dança: Performando em cortejo a corporalidade de Pomba gira no espaço acadêmico

Abstract

The Metá Metá Dance Collective, created to reflect, research and dance afro Alagoas themes fro young researchers of the performing arts, with na emphasis on dance and theater, proposes to share na experimente entitled Corpo Gira – Girá, premiered in november 2022 at the Academic Congress o Dance of Ufal. The objective off the show was to hold a procession at the A. Simões Campus (UFAL) in order to reflect and higlith the scenic practices from the articulation and creation of young artists who are fro terreiros o Candomblé and Umbanda. The procession prokes the reclection of the importance of understanding the figure of the spinning dove, thus demystying the various misconceptions and prejudices tha falo n them in contemporary times. This research is metodologically constituted of bibliografic survey, autoethnography, discussions and theoretical and practical reflection on black dance, the blac body and the practices of dances performed by black people that make up the afrocentric doing.
