Abstract
This article is a report and reflection on the presence of photography in the assembly process of the show M(eu) Infinito, and how its use collaborated in the corporal and scenic development of the actors and actresses. This experience with the image arises in the laboratory practice with corporeal mimesis, a method created by Luís Otavio Burnier and deepened by Lume – Interdisciplinary Center for Theater Research at UNICAMP – and the body score derived from the concepts of the French, François Delsarte. Photography was a valuable creative reference for the performers, so there is a brief historical contextualization of the image and, at the end, a reflection on how creative processes can appropriate this element.
