Abstract
This study discusses the importance of rescuing the sensitivity towards nature in a world where it is increasingly silenced. Proposing dialogues between the theory of ecocriticism and Kazuo Ohno's butoh dance, this article explores the possibilities of the poetics of the body and its limits in a practice of connection with nature where there is a transformation of the body and mind, creating the availability to experience a new perspective through butoh.
