Abstract

The present work seeks to discuss and problematize virtual experiences, carried out from a digital scenic experiment, practiced as a pedagogical action in remote theater teaching, carried out on digital platforms during the pandemic period between May and July 2020. This process was developed by students and teachers, in a professional theater teaching school, in the city of São Paulo. Understanding that technology is part of virtual creative processes and expands the field of the visible, enabling new spatio-temporal relationships and new visual modalities, it was established as main objectives to expand the students' repertoire and awaken the interpretative development of theatrical language, proposing the development and presentation of a dramaturgical reading, from fragments of the text “A Streetcar Named Desire” by Tennessee Williams. Aiming at the realization of a live digital presentation, which would integrate actors and spectators in the presentation of the dramatic reading, it was proposed the construction of a scenic exercise, which approached the audiovisual language. In this new research corpus, which reinvents content and provokes new readings, we resort to virtual experiences, pointing out some audiovisual elements in this experimental action and we seek dramatic reading as an expressive means, proposing a private communication with the public.   KEY WORDS Teaching.
