Abstract
This article aims to analyze how the actor's body inserts itself in the creative processes of the Pequena Companhia de Teatro. To this end, it considers the Antagonistic Table, a procedure adopted by the company for actor's training and characters' composition. The included theoretical references are the Theatre Anthropology by Barba and the Bodymedia Theory in Greiner and Katz. The research methodology is the case study, having as data source the bibliographical and documentary research. The processing and analysis of the collected data will refer to the Discourse Textual Analysis. Based on the analysis of the collected data and the construction of this article, it is concluded that the understanding of the actor's body, in an attempt to build his own dramaturgy, first accesses the comprehension of the dramaturgy of the body. To this end, the Antagonistic Table enables the actor's body the meaning construction required to his writing.
